The sky was black and the road was white
Trying to get home but so hard to drive
spin out and crash he could have died
wakes up in pain but he’s alive
He wanted to kill his darling
She wasn’t gonna let her die
Nurse turns into a warden
and He is forced to write
She was his number one fan
Now she’s so mad at him
She’ll bring back misery
Misery lives
She uncovers his terrible plan
She locks door and imprisons him
She makes him destroy his work
And start writing Misery’s Return
—
He finds out she was a baby killer
Then he tries to poison her
He wakes up strapped to the bed with chains
She takes a sledge hammer to his legs
—
The sheriff comes and he thinks he’s saved
she sends the sheriff to his grave
He writes the book she wants to read
Then he takes a match and sets it ablaze
A typewriter to the head
And Misery is finally dead
He doesn’t like to talk about it
Now he’s afraid of his number one
